CANADA Day Celebration

Summer isn’t summer without Canada Day fun; we’re so excited to join in the fun this year at the City of Surrey Canada Day presented by Coast Capital Savings.

Every year, the kiddos look forward to the best part the fireworks. They get so excited to see all the beautiful colours explode in the sky. They count how colours they see and how many times fireworks shoot up into the air. It’s so magical to watch their reactions as they see the fireworks go off.

This year the Canada Day festivities will be held at the Bill Reid millennium amphitheatre with loads of fun for the whole family.

KID ZONE

This area is hosted by the Downtown Surrey BIA, featuring Canada Day themed activities. And a toddler area, for the little ones to run around.

FOOD TRUCKS

This zone will definitely be my favourite spot LOL I mean they’ll have a huge array of food trucks to choose from such as Mr. Ken’s Donuts, Rocky Point Ice cream, Jamaican Mi Juicy, JJ”s Hot Cobbs, Big Red Poutine Truck, Asian Special BBQ and Original Hurricane Potato just to name a few yummy options.

LIVE CONCERT

There will be a huge and incredible line up of LIVE PERFORMERS with the amazing headliners Our Lady Peace, BIF Naked and a tonne more amazing performers.

CLOVERDALE RODEO ZONE

This area is located in the Cloverdale Agriplex from 10 AM- 6 PM and best part it’s free. This area may be my kiddos favourite with all the country themed activities, bull riding, an inflatable corn maze, axe throwing, summer market and live music.

AMUSEMENT RIDES

There will be also so many fun rides, such as the Ferris Wheel, Bumper cars, the Lightning bolt and tilt a whirl just to name a few. With an addition of a few awesome bouncy castles for the little ones to enjoy.

During the fun day don’t forget to bring sunscreen and we will definitely be bringing the stroller for my little guy because there is nothing worse than exploring and having a grumpy preschooler on your hands. We will definitely be exploring all the zones and we hope to see you all there.
